Steamy
Teacup
filled to the brim
with steamy
sweet amber
in gentle swirls; from my wet
lips
to yours.

Mourning
Sea
Ash sky
and choppy sea
reflect as one, as the
flowered wreath keeps searching for you
for me.
|
|
|
Home Alone
Pale drops
on the window
in the darkening light
then
blown by the wind, suddenly
flash white.
|
|
|
|
|
Bliss!
Sweetness
of the sunset
freedom of the run, with
echoes of seagulls in shadows
now gone.
|
|
|
Afternoon
Golden
ginko leaves fly
in a light springtime breeze
flitting about in the meadow
shining.
|
|
|
|
|
Haunted
Pieces
of the scarecrow
at midnight, screaming out
for its pounding heart held by the
black crow. |
|
|
Back Then
Freedom!
Hair to the waist
wearing paisley and lace,
when seeds went to pot in
grandma's
garden. |
|
|
|
|
For Honey
Wearing
a flowered scarf
you waited for springtime
and the first crocus...then left us
too soon. |
|
|
Sweet Light
Darkness
begins to wash
out of a gauzy sky
as stars pale into the new light
of dawn. |
|
|
|
|
Visiting
Her eyes
quiet this day;
innocent, as she rocks
back and forth singing a
child's song
again. |
|
|
Day's End
Sunset
around the curve
glistening off the sea,
as gray gulls dive into the last
red glow.
